Other holidays...National No Beard Day In preparation for the upcoming "Mo-vember" it is time to get the hairy (or not so hairy) ones involved. The smoother the face, the bigger the celebration! Have you forgotten what you look like with a clean face? Would you be sleeping with a stranger if your mate shaved their face? This is the time to find out! Whether the beard/mustache has lived with you for years or is just a friendly visitor, this is the day to say sayonara to those pesky whiskers. Beside with "Mo-vember" being just around the corner it won't be too long before they move back in. To observe No Beard Day!! Take before and after pics and share on social media! #NationalNoBeardDay BRA Day USA (Third Wednesday in October) BRA is an acronym for Breast Reconstruction Awareness. Originally founded in Canada by a plastic surgeon, Dr. Mitchell Brown, in 2011; eventually expanded to the US in 2012. Every year Breast Cancer Awareness becomes a specific focus for those who are/have or know someone who has had to fight against the big C of breast cancer, but there is very little attention is given to shine lights on options after mastectomy or lumpectomy. While reconstruction may not be something for every fighter/survivor of breast cancer, access to education should be available. If someone you know has survived breast cancer, but has made the sacrifice share your love with them today. #BRADayUSA ![]() Hagfish Day (Third Wednesday in October) Now if you are like me, the first thing I thought was...What the hell is a hagfish? Well, I found out (feel free to read here). The purpose of this day's observance is not just to celebrate a creature dubbed the 'ugliest of its species', but to encourage you to look beyond the exterior and appreciate how highly evolved they are. (This could also be the wonderful opportunity for us each to look at someone/something/anything with a different light and appreciate them from a different view.) Today, take a new look at yourself and post to social media your new view of yourself. #HagfishDay
Medical Assistants Recognition Day
(On Wednesday of Third Full Week in October) Anyone who has been to the doctor, a clinic, a hospital, a hospice home or rehabilitation facility has seen the hardest working people in these buildings are the medical assistants. These busy, flitting people are health professionals who are there to be support staff for the staff on duty. Their duties are not limited to just clinical or administrative duties, but their roles are varied. Though this will depend on quite a few factors (i.e. facility size, certification requirements, the state and the laws affected by the work site. Today take time to thank a medical assistant for their hard work and dedication! Take a selfie with someone who fights for the health of others! Share on social media. #MedicalAssistantsRecognitionDay

AuthorI have spent quite a few years writing short stories that never quite fit into the 'normal' genre. When I came across the different erotica genres I was overjoyed. I had found my writing family. I hope that everyone enjoys what I've written. Please feel free to send me a comment/suggestion good/bad/indifferent. I appreciate all feedback! Bright Blessings!
