This day is dedicated to the decluttering of our virtual desktops
(though I see nothing wrong with taking care of your actual desktop at the same time.)
Think back to when your computer was new, clean and organized,
now let's dive in and take the time to straighten it up.
National Day Calendar shares the suggested observance...
"How to Observe National Virtual Desktop Decluttering Day.
Neaten up your desktop by deleting unneeded items and sorting the rest into folders.
Use #CleanYourVirtualDesktopDay to post on social media"
The history of this holiday appears to come from the Canada!
The Personal Computer Museum (Brantford, ON) created the unofficial holiday encouraging others to organize
their desktops and the files on their computers.
The holiday was first celebrated in October 2010.

Other Holidays Happening Today...
National Liqueur Day
We all have our favorite liqueurs (i.e. Bailey's, Kahlua, Grand Marnier, Jagermeister, etc.),
but not many of us know a liqueur is a distilled liquor flavored
with fruit, cream, herbs, spices, flowers or nuts, sweetened then bottled.
To observe this holiday, go out for a drink with friends. (Please, don't drink and drive. Drink responsibly.)
National Dictionary Day
Okay, this one is new to me, but I like the idea of celebrating the English language.
To observe this holiday, open a dictionary and learn a new word or two.
National Feral Cat Day
Trap-Alter-Return is the best option for these sweet, but fiercely independent souls.
For all of us cat lovers!! This holiday was initiated by the Alley Cat Allies in 2001
A feral cat is the result of a domesticated cat being abandoned or lost. The babies of these abandoned/lost family members, usually are cats who are born outdoors and never have much (if any) human contact.
To observe this holiday, donate to an organization responsible for T.A.R. (Trap-Alter-Return) and other cares for local ferals. Click here for ideas.
Department Store Day
Whether we agree or not, the definition of a department store is simply stated as.
"A department store is a retail establishment offering a wide range of consumer goods in different product categories known as "departments".
These stores can be one of many in a chain (Walmart, Kmart, Shopko, etc,) or it can be an independent location (i.e. Gregory's, Woolworth, Benjamin Franklin, etc.)
To observe this holiday, go shopping! (Duh!)
In 1958, National Boss' Day was registered with the US Chamber of Commerce.
The woman who came up with the idea chose today because it was her boss'/father's birthday.
It was officially backed and proclaimed by the Illinois Governor at that time in 1962.
Then in 1979, Hallmark Cards decided to make some coin off the holiday by introducing Boss' Day cards into their repertoire.

I have spent quite a few years writing short stories that never quite fit into the 'normal' genre. When I came across the different erotica genres I was overjoyed. I had found my writing family. I hope that everyone enjoys what I've written. Please feel free to send me a comment/suggestion good/bad/indifferent. I appreciate all feedback! Bright Blessings!
