My wife needs insulin to keep her alive and "healthy". Watching her go through the paces of taking care of herself with the insulin injections preceded usually by the quick stab for her glucose reading seems to be anything but luxurious. It's a painful, time consuming and sometimes giant pain in the ass procedure she HAS to do. Not something she wants to do, which would definitely make a luxury, but something that is a necessity to her life...kind of like...WATER...OXYGEN...FOOD...SHELTER!!!!

To the Bureaucratic asshat that believe insulin in a luxury, may the day never come where you or someone you love has to rely on insulin to keep them on this fukakta planet with this money centered, selfish government.

Are you registered to vote?

That was the question that started my trip down the rabbit hole of my perceptions of the political process, parties and candidates. 

What the hell do I need to register to vote for? I don't even know any of the platforms or candidates. 

Did you cringe? I did. So I gotta say...

My name is Mandi and I am a bad American. Since turning of legal age to vote, there have been 6 Presidential elections and quite a few others. I have voted in 1, Yes, that's right I said it. I have vote in 1 election in the last 25 years. 

I am fully aware that I am partially responsible for the clusterfuck our country has become because I didn't bother to have a voice. I also didn't bother to complain about what the sitting President of the time did because I wasn't even registered so I felt I had no right to comment. 

However, with the many changes my life has taken and I suppose I am just getting fucking old because I feel it is tine fo rme to stand up and vote. After the last 2 years with 'Cheeto-in-Chief' making life difficult for those who are already oppressed, or fighting to survive, the only thing coming to mind is..."It's NOT FAIR!"  
So here is where I start. I am not politicially educated (my family kept/keeps that to themselves), but I am learning. I may not have all the answers, but I know what my community needs and what my brothers/sisters/nb family/etc. want. So...

My name is Mandi. I am going to be a VOTING American. I will learn and make votes based on what wil make the best efforts for my community and country.
