We all know her story and the controversy around her. Star athlete, Olympic decathlete, actor/reality star until September of 2015 when she finalized her transition. She has been called, "The Most Famous Openly Transgender Woman in the World". (Though I must say, I believe 'her' desire to remain in the limelight when 'he' was becoming a fading star may have been a playing note in the symphony. Even with knowing it is not my place to put judgment on anyone's transition, I still can't help to feel it was rather shady on the underside. Again, only my opinion.)

Though I do not agree with her politics, her near uneducated rants nor her overly sensationalized ways of being, I do respect her for seeking out her happiness and taking control of her life.

I watch her now since her transition and keep my fingers crossed she will look past her financial privilege and remember there are more sisters and brothers out there who do not have the luxury of hiding behinds stardom or mountains of fiscal barricades.

On a scale of 1-10...her strength feels an 8, but her superficiality that is shown on tv knocks it to a 3.
